Depends on who 'it' is that is so doing and wether 'it' is done on purpose or not... so if 'you' forgot the 'milk' or to bring out the 'garbage'..etc...and 'it's' becoming a 'HABIT' for 'you' to SHIRK 'your' daily/etc/ responsibilities maybe 'you' should look in a 'MIRROR'..and start doing 'your' 'work'...( otherwise 'you' might be OUT-OF-HOME-and 'it's HEARTH..so-to-speak....but if 'it's' someone 'you' associate with try finding a different 'life-style' by developing interests that allow different enviroments to enter into...

It really depends on your defination of how someone gets on your nerves. You may be irritated by one thing and someone else think it's no big deal.
What I do is either ignore them and if that's impossible b/cause we work together, then I just learn to tollerate them. It's the mature and decent way to go. I know if I let alot of things bother me then I'll never get anything done or I may end up doing something I'll regret like hit them. Just don't let things bother you. Try to let things go unless they deserve a good talking to.

Sometimes people purposely do that because they get some enjoyment from seeing your reaction when they get on your nerves. First step, try not to let them see your reaction, they may very well stop after a while.

Find a therapist, find out why you allow people to take your peace, and lastly stop trippin. Conflict 101- The first rule of conflict management is that if you have a conflict with someone, its usually yours, not theirs. Get in control of your feelings and stop set trippin.

- avoid them for a while. Then spend some time around them again. If they get on your nerves consistently, drop them - life's too short. Spend more time around people who don't.

i say, beat the crap out of him/her! ppl say don do that cause this cause that but scrap! if they get on ur nerves means they are asking for it. they just sort of give the impression like " hey there beat the **** outta me!" but! if u r unable to do so, u have no choice but to ignore them. it definitely pisses them off if they know that their "getting on ur nerves" technique isnt working. just ignore them and it will get on their own nerves...
