My favorite author is James Patterson. I love his Alex Cross books, and I've recently started to read his series, The Women's Murder Club. I also really like Nicholas Sparks, I just started reading his novel "Bend at the Road" yesterday.

Richard Wright! Despite having lived almost fifty years ago, his writing still pulls a modern heartstring, but not in the sappy tear jerker way. I also love Charles Dickens for his humor, George Orwell for his satire, Bebe Moore Campbell for her modernly relavent books on race relations and mental health, and Shakespeare for his classic plays.

although , they write fiction , their books creat a world of reality and i get really lost in them.... thats why i love both of their books.
