Why do you hate emos?

I'm not SAYING I am emo. I don't label myself, cos that just sucks.
But other people say I am, and loads of people hate my gang for it.
WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM WITH US?

and BY THE WAY, emos CAN be HAPPY!

I have never had any problems with anyone who enjoyed emo music. But from what I have observed, most men who do not listen to emo seem to think that other guys who do listen to emo are how do you say, feminine? I think it may just be a bias based on the type of guys that are in "emo" bands, since(based purely on visual observation, ie music videos) most of them seem to be scrawny, nerdy, and generally not like the common idea of a man. I think some men are just threatened by the fact that the kids they used to bully now have the same, sometimes even better chance with the opposite sex. I love girls, listen to whatever music you want I don't care.

Okay, the reason noone like emos, is becuase all they do is buy music that comes on MTV. Oh man, Panic at the Disco has a hit song on MTV, im gonna go out and by there cd, buy a Tshirt, and wear black while im listening to that music. Thats all emos are. THere not origional. If you emo, i bet you like Panic at the Disco, Green Day (unless that teen fade is already over), and even Fall OUt Boy...Those are the most STUPID bands in the world. Emos are POSERS. they need to learn to like real music, and not just the hip stuff that shows up on MTV. man i hate them. and im not saying your an emo, like you said, im just saying what they are.

Only emos and preps are afraid of being labeled. I don't hate emos, they're just living a different lifestyle that happens to be extremely annoying.

In the first sentence, you said you are not 'emo'. In the last sentence, you said 'WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM WITH US?'. I find this confusing.

But to answer your question, it's all a matter of one's opinion. Mostly, negative thoughts on a person are fueled by stereotypes created by modern society as a way to vent their frustrations on somebody "lesser" than them.

well i remember when i was in high school ( not that long ago ) i didnt like some emo kids. just becasue they listened to gay music and they guys wore tight clothes and spent more time on their hair than me.
im over that now of course... but maybe that has someone to do with it?

people are stupid. people hate emos cuz they are different and people want to be the same. howver im for different all the way! just cuz no one will talk to you wellwho cares about them... go for it! stay emo just to anoy everyone else! never go prep. then you would just look like everyone else! and thats kind of boring

Um...I don't. I have plenty of emo friends. I think others have a problem because they think you only do the things you do because you want attention. They're shallow.

hmm, its the person in particular that i hate its more of the way they act i mean come on they say that their lives suck or that they should die cause they think they are worthless,well if it sucks so much why dont they try and make something of it dont be lazy and besides not everybody wants to listen to their problems when they have their own =)
