I'm a young girl & I definitely do not do that.
In fact, I pride myself on not being a lemming.

Not all young girls are the same, some girls already have their personalities developed further along than others. It just a phase that everyone goes through, girls, guys, everyone. And no, they dont think they look like idiots, you see, cuz from what they can see around them, the unpopular ones (the ones that are just different, and have their own minds) get treated pretty bad, so they deduct from that, the way to be liked, is to be like everyone else, which to them is cool-lookin. Its peer pressure. And you know, they do have their own personality, everyone does, its just that they are still very young and havent had time to figure it all out yet. :)

I think because they're still trying to discover who they are as a person, and they're trying out different things that society says is "attractive" or "popular" to everyone else. Rather than taking the risk to formulate their own opinions and styles, they just go with whatever seems to be working at the time. It's really a shame. These girls are so lost and just want to fit in, but they don't have the world's best role models these days, do they?

They do not look like idiots ! They are still searching for who they are and don't realize yet that their personalities are growing just below the service.We are not born adults.It's all part of the growing up process.

young girls are trying to figure out who they are-and until then they will imitate what they think people want from them. When people say "just be yourself" their first thought is that they are too dull or boring, so they go for who they like. and as to the idiot part...no thankfully they are blissfully unaware. have you ever noticed that our grandparents thought our parents looked stupid,parents thought we were crazy and now as we age we think the younger generation are stupid. Everything is in the eye of the beholder.

Kids are like recorders. They view things and imitate, thinking that is the correct way to do things. Your life consists of what you have seen growing up. It makes you who you are.

They just don't have any identity yet, and are insecure with themselves and don't have strong enough parental figures, and yes, they do look like idiots. But, you're telling me young boys don't look like idiots?

well girls try to be other ppl like britney spears and all those models, and singers cause their mostly trying to impress someone and if you impress someone wit the person your trying to be..well.. this is mostly FAKE!! u noe that thay person ur trying to impress didnt like u for who u are but for who ur trying to be so if i were you ill jus stick wit being urself instead of meaking a fool out of urself...
