"Pseudoscience"? Pluto hasn't disappeared or changed its orbit. It's still out there happily trudging around the sun.

It's more like semantics than science.

A rose by any other name is still a rose.

Pluto was there before any astronomer existed, and it'll still be there when they're all gone!

What do you mean by this? I have been hearing about Pluto lately, about him being kicked out of the Royal Ra family, etc. But that does not give a working definition of "pseudoscience." As I understand it (and I have not read details), there is now some increasing evidence that Pluto is adopted, and not the natural child of the Sun. So what? There has been speculation (is that what you mean by "pseudoscience?") on that for years; I am not up on the new evidence, but the story apparently is not over yet. It probably will not be conclusively decided until we have actual samples of Pluto material. That could take some time.

What Pluto theory? Pluto hasn't disappeared its now just a dwarf planet rather than a planet.

Pluto is no longer classified as a planet, but a dwarf planet... was that too complicated for you?
