You betcha, but hopefully she will learn better social skills. Eventually she will learn to take responsibility for what comes out of her mouth, if not natural consequence will take place, and her world of friendship will decrease. She may be experiencing a lot of stress and anxiety that no one knows about and her frustration and/or emotional pain will come out that way. Try to keep open minded, and observant, she may be dealing with a lot and trying to handle it all on her own. In addition, be aware, that not all are fortunate enough to have learnt good social skills, due to neglect from an early age and are children raising themselves. There could be multiple reasons behind her behaviour/s. Continue to be supportive, but display your tolerance at the same time. Don't accept negative behaviour, and state that you refuse to be treated that way, and will not tolerate being mistreated. Hope that helps, good luck!

I "had" a best friend that cursed anything and everything, anyone at anytime. She cursed to me, at me, about me. I knew it was just her way but it didn't mean I liked it. We drifted apart, she moved and though we are still friends I am more than a little relieved she is no longer in my daily life.

my daughter's friend just recently offended her quite a bit b/c there was a parade locally and she mentioned she was in it but not "in it" and she didn't understand what that meant and she asked her a question to clarify; and she said the "freakin parade" and from that time on - my daughter has kept her distance of this friend who chose to swear at her for no reason....
