I've seen it.... enough proof for me, though I don't know how I would ever convince you. ;-)

No the earth is not round. Have you not seen the map of the world? It is rectangular. North is on the top. South is at the bottom. East is to the right and west is to the left. All continents are differently coloured. The oceans are blue. The north pole is a horizontal line at the top of the world. The south pole is a horizontal line at the bottom of the world. But when something is dropped it does not go perpendicular towards the earth. It falls to the floor at the bottom of the wall on which the world is hung.

Besides the fact that science and maths proves that the earth is round, you can use simple observation. Get on an aeroplane and look out the window. You'll see the curvature of the earth. Keep travelling and you'll eventually come back to where you started.

Easy. But you'll have to do the graft.
Go to the east coast of the UK. Get in a boat that is also heading East. As the boat sets off, you will see nothing on the horizon. After a peariod of time (Not too long), you'll see a landmass in the distance.
As you get nearer, the coast will rise up.
Also, next time you're in a jet, look out of the window and you should be able to see that the horizon has a slight curve to it.
These are a strong indication that the earth is indeed round and that you will not, in fact, fall off like you were in Monty Python Film or Landrover ad.

Well, it isn't really round is oval shaped. The way you can prove it, is by looking at the night sky and realizing that the moon, the starts and so on, ain't flat either, so the earth must also be oval.

the earth is not "Round" its not even a sphere, its like an orange, flattened a lil at the poles. Start off towards the west and travel in a straight line, ull end up at ur starting point aftyer sum time.

Yes, because you don't fall off the horizon...it just goes on and on and on and if you were to keep going you would come back to the same spot...therefore it has to be round...can't be square or any other shape...besides look up...the moon, the sun, they're all round...so is planet earth darling.

Ever been to the beach? Look out into the horizon and you will notice the curvature of the earth. Also, go to the NASA website to check out some photos from space.

The perpendicular atmospheric pressure adds prosperetic fumigal accensions to the atmosphere thus hence therefore causing molecular sphereness to the planet causing it's roundness. Pheww that's what I call a lot of blabber...lol

It's not perfectly round, it's mostly round, due to spinning in orbit. Stay awake in science class.
