...Interesting question. Prompted me to go to my gadget drawer to research the answer. As I have been unable to say NO to many pampered chef parties and I have two drawers full of gadgets. I have grapefruit cutters, orange pelers, small whisks, large whisks, can strainers, measuring spoons, assorted knives and rubber bottle openers thing-a-ma-jigs.... The one gadget that is the most useless, is the one that you always forget to use until AFTER your hands are a sticky mess. Then you don't know where you put it anyway. It's a "thingy" to get olives or pickles out of the jar. Takes longer to remember it and find it than it does to just get the pickle out with your fingers.

I've bought heaps of things that I didn't use in the way of clothing and c.d's, but I'm a repeat offender for tamagotchi's and virtual pets.

I went through a phase where I bought one, got sick of it, bought another one, got sick of it, bought another one, etc. about 5 times within a matter of a couple of months... I was around 16 at the time and I have absolutely no idea why I kept doing it... to this day I still have to stop myself from buying them- whenever I see a kid with one around their neck it tempts me... I have absolutely no idea what it is about these things that just makes me want to buy, buy, buy, even when I KNOW in my mind that I wouldn't make use of it or would get sick of it as soon as it died the first time around.

Luckily these days I have the sense to keep away from the useless pieces of junk!

My husband bought me some gadget to peel boiled eggs. After reading the instructions I decided this was one of those situations where the old regular peel the egg method may take longer but was much, much simpler. Never used it!

I have been given such a number of presents that i did no longer might desire to purchase something different than clothing and diapers. The presents I under no circumstances used: Take-alongside swing - he consistently sat up in it, which made it end swinging. Bouncer - we did use this, yet he did no longer leap and hated the vibrations and music. an uncomplicated toddlers' chair could have been plenty extra low-fee and less demanding to apply. Icrib - He likes the coloured lights, yet they make him pick to play particularly of sleep. Bottles and liners - he's breastfed, and refused to take a bottle. Pacifiers and pacifier-keepers - returned, he refused them from the beginning up. tub duck - they look very misguided. undesirable DS may well be interior the tub *shivering* and the duck might insist it grew to become into too warm for him! Duck tub - because it truly is with maximum inflatable products, it sprung a leak genuine away. by using the time he outgrew his toddler tub, he might desire to sit down down interior the tub itself besides. I do sense undesirable for under no circumstances utilising those presents...yet there grew to become into no factor, and that they have been many times counter-effective. nonetheless, a number of those are basically because of the fact of my son's possibilities, so as that they had in all probability artwork out plenty extra effective for somebody else.
