you have a cooling system water leak, it is just showing up inside your car. More likely the heater core has a leak or a hose connected to it is loose and the water is finding its way inside the car.

The heater core is located behind the engine firewall, and it's like a little mini radiator with the heater blower motor somewhere nearby. There's 2 hoses about 5/8" diameter or so going into the firewall from the front of the engine near the water pump.
If your heater core opens up it will leak all its water and the most common place for it to go is inside your car, usually on the passenger floorboards. Greenish color is a dead giveaway.
The heater core is sandwiched between the firewall and
the inside of the car, and in some cars it can be quite a job to remove and replace it. Worse yet, if you can't afford to replace it then you will need to bypass the core by finding the two hoses and joining them so the water coming out of the water pump goes right back into the water pump, else you will lose all your coolant and the engine will start to over heat. Expect an estimate of $300-500 if it's the core. Good Luck!

it sounds like it just blew a heater core,,this is normal after many years of use,,some do it in the first few years,,and some will outlast the car,,i own a repair shop,,and i have had cars in the shop this year that was only 3 yrs old,,and they had blown heater core,s,,this is
where you get your heat from,,it is located in under the dash area,,and it gets hot from the coolant flowing through it from the engine,,if it get a small hole in it,,it leaks out,,on the inside of the car,,this is why it flooded the car,,what they Will do is put a new core in it,,and they should clean the carpet also,,to get rid of the smell,,its not too bad of a job to do,,i hope it goes well for you,,good luck with it.

You have a heater core leak, or a leak in a hose going into/out of the core. The heater core is similar to the car's radiator. Hot engine coolant flows into it, and the cabin blower blows air by it's fins, transferring the heat into your car's cabin.
A leaking core can easily put a substantial amount of coolant (the green liquid you see) into the cabin.
There are two ways to do the repair. One is to replace the core, but on many cars this is very expensive, because of the labor involved. A second way, if you don't really need to have cabin heat, is to have a mechanic bypass the core so no coolant goes into it.
The repair of the core on my Volvo 940 was $700.
