I'm wondering because i found a small lump in my left breast and I'm only 13 but is it possible for me to have breast cancer? My grandmother on my mom's side had breast cancer so could that be hereditary?

Yes, you can get breast cancer at any age. My mom found a lump on my breast when i was five. It turned out to be a fat ball - just a little lump of fat. It can be many things - is it hard or soft and squishey? Also, before you start your period, you can get lumps in your breast - usually just a hormonal thing, they go away - Cancerous lumps in the breast are usually hard and fixed - but have it checked out no matter what - esp if it has you worried and you have a family history. Good luck kiddo! :)

This sounds weird but Do you drink a lot of stuff with caffine (soda, coffee, tea,) cause i have the same problem and so did my 16 year old cousin. she drinks a lot of coffee and she found a lump, she went and had it tested and they told her it was from all the caffine she has been drinking. when she cut down the lump eventually went away.

But just to be on the safe side have your mom take you to see a doctor so they can run test.

Good Luck :)

It is possible, but it is more likely that it is some sort of gland starting up. Check in a couple of days and see if you have the lump there. If it is still there, talk to your parents or a doctor about this.
