As a F1 driver in how many accidents he was involved and in how many of those accidents was he directly responsible?

Is he a threat for Nascar drivers, now that he has decided to join Nascar?

well montoya was accused of not trying too much on the f1 circuit. moreover he wasnt that lucky. whenever he did have a good race he had some mechanical problem in his car. but he was a bit reckless. also a bit aggressive. i dont know if he'll be suitable for NASCAR coz i dunno anything abt it.

I don't think Montoya had any more crashes than anyone else... certainly not as many as Scott Speed. There was a lot of politics involved in his leaving F-1 and going to NASCAR and I don't believe the press releases about how he just wanted to get back into racing.

Being a ex Formula 1 driver gives him a huge advantage against the NASCAR types who aren't that good of a driver... and that includes Dale Jr. who Americans have raised to the level of a religious icon.

He is not bigger threat than any other NASCAR driver and probably much less so.

"If" is a taboo word in history, but one can only speculate how Montoya would have done had he been with a team that had a championship-winning car. He would have won more races, more regularly, his morale would have been boosted, he may have won a WDC or two, he may have mellowed or matured and driven more sensibly. His team would have supported him more, he would have been liked more, he would have been nice to others. I think the environment he was in was probably not suited for his temperament, and he sulked. When he sulks, he's a world-class sulk. I hope he'll be happier and more liked in NASCAR. If he's happy, he'll drive well. If not, he might be joining JV in his band or be a back-up vocal for Shakira!

Well, he was involved in a pretty big number of crashes and he is also well-known for calling a number of people "f***ing idiots".

He might be a threat for the moral safety of Nascar.
Glad we got rid of him. I was starting to get fed up with him. De la Rosa is doing much better than him.

As much as accidents or incidents I could say he has a perfect 1.000 in F1. Very glad that he was cut loose.
