I cleaned in a slaughter house...REPULSIVE! ..I was 13 years old and it was my afterschool job. I have been an animal lover from day one. The thought of what went on there and that slimey mess didn't smell good either, but I was made to do it(parents rule) for a whopping $2.10 per hour.
P.S. LOL... Jerdy, you feelin' ok? And Bobby G. remember what you said and see how you raise your kids in a society that does NOT approve of a displinary spanking whether it's in public or not!

I'd say that would be working on a factory trawler on the Bering Sea--

It is extremely dangerous just being there, plus everything reeks so badly of old rotten fish parts that your olfactory senses become deadened to any sensory input.

Water is limited, so you are allowed a very limited amount of showers.

The same goes for clothes being washed.

If you perform the job without wearing your rubber protective clothing, your arms will break out in tiny-bumped hives and swell up to resemble long red balloons. (People frequently have bad reactions to direct contact with the scales of certain deep sea fish.)

During the return journey back to Seattle, the employees are required to perform constant clean-up. This allows the opportunity to discover all sorts of interesting but dead fish parts and small sea creatures that at some point have been infested with fat, healthy maggots.

The only good thing about the job is that your sense of smell is so deadened that you can only SEE the nastiness.

Oh-- and one other possible good thing about the job -- if you had an addiction to McDonald's Filet-O-Fish, after one season, you will probably be cured for life.

A teacher in any public school system. To put up with careless, senceless, rude, hauty, foul mouthed kids every day has got to be one of the worst. These people choose this profession because they actually care and want to make a difference and get steped on everyday by people who are way younger then them and dont give a crap about anything but themselves. And to watch the rapid decline of this generation on a every day basis when your trying to do something about it must be very emotional and stressful but they go to work every day and do there best. Im not saying all kids are like this but most of them are.

Working on an assembly line, putting the same nut on the same bolt, over and over again for 8 or 10 hours a day. It's about as stimulating as watching your dog sleep. And, if you look at the slack jawed, vacant stares of the people who have been doing for 10 or 15 years, you can see what you're eventually going to look like. Shudder!! (Hope I didn't offend anyone who works on an assembly line, but it's a job I hated).

The worst job would be one where a person felt under-utilised or unfulfilled in aiming to reach their full potential as a person and member of a community.

No job is the "worst" if you enjoy it. But personally, High School Janitor tops my list of jobs that I'd least like to have.

Garbage man---you have to touch other people's waste (and you can only imagine what some people put in the trash can) Ride around in a stinking truck all day, wear disgusting looking clothes. Then, when you go home, you no doubt reek of garbage and trash. I bet no matter how many times you shower you can still smell it on yourself. Gross.
