Celebrity Big Brother 5 is the fifth series of the celebrity version of the UK version of the reality television series Big Brother. Celebrity Big Brother 5 is set to begin on January 4, 2007 but it is unknown at present how long the series will last for.
The format of the show is expected to be unchanged from previous years; a number of celebrities (or non celebrities as seen in CBB4) enter and live in a purpose built house where they have no contact with the outside world. Nominations take place every few days which involve housemates choosing two of their fellow housemates for eviction, the two or more housemates with the most votes are put up for the public vote where the public to evict (or save on some occassions) the housemate of their choice. Ultimatley one housemate emerges as the winner having received the most votes from the public.
Davina McCall, will return as the eviction night host.
