Yes, OMG! It was a countdown show. They had a group of dancers aptly named the "Solid Gold Dancers" come out and dance to each of the top ten songs of the week. In between songs, they would have the hottest singers/bands come out and lip synch their hit songs. My friends and I would pretend we were the Solid Gold Dancers and make up our own routines. Ah, yes, good times, good times..........

Yes! Was first hosted by an African-American singer who was part of a duo - cannot remember the name - and then hosted by the late Andy Gibb. The Solid Gold dancers - disco era at it's best!
