luke vs darth vader, darth vader vs obi wan , obi wan vs anakin,darth maul vs qui-gon jinn, yoda vs count dooku
any suggestions?

The total package was Luke and Vader in Cloud City. AWESOME! Twists and turns, Vader kicking his son's butt, Luke having to fall to get away; it had it all. From a technical standpoint the Darth Maul vs. Obi and Qui Gon was superior to any other duel, but Cloud City had it all.

The most exciting had to be Darth Maul vs. Obi-wan Kenobi.
But the most transcendant was Yoda vs. The Emperor because that battle truly decided the fate of the Republic/Empire. Yoda was better, just an unfortunate turn of events that led to him falling was his downfall.

I'd have to say the one between Yoda and the Emperor. If Yoda have had the upper ground (if his nail had been penetrating enough to keep him on top) the story would have been different. One could tell that Yoda was superior in skill with the light saber and knowledge of the Force than the Emperor, but an unfortunate turn of events determined the Galaxy's destiny. If Yoda had won, Vader would have died. The Galaxy would have never fallen under the evil of theSith!!!

it has to be darth vader v luke since that is the true moral finale of the star wars francise.so much symbolism such as the father and son,dark and light you know.These are the opposite poles in the spectrum that come together for one final battle of the galaxy.Although their first encounter is more memorable when vader revealed that he was lukes father.But the final battle is just a great way of tying up loose ends.I like the count dooku battle with yoda also.yoda *** kicks he does

I really liked the scene with anakin vs obi wan kenobi. That was I think the best of them all. Excellently done. I love the scene that they put it in too!

I actually liked Obi vs. Anaikin, that was a good one, but all of them were pretty great!
