Our thoughts are based on the activity of our neurons, and that activity does represent energy. If you were to take that energy and do the right things to it, you could indeed make some matter out of it. However, the amount of matter you'd end up with would be very small, too small to see, and the material it is made out of would not be based on what you're thinking about at the moment.

Our thoughts consume energy. Not producing energy. But there is no process that makes the energy in to mass. The only procedure we know converts mass in to energy. That too not all types of mass can be converted in to energy. Only certain types.
This E = mc^2 only shows the equivalency between the mass and energy for mathematical calculations etc. and used mostly one way. Certain types of Mass to energy

energy is the amount of work that can be done by your thoughts!!

AND
That energy comes from matter

I love this question. Maybe our thoughts help create more wrinkles in our gray matter - the brain.
Our thoughts influence the way our bodies react - heart rate, etc.
Our thoughts influence what we do in the physical world - our actions.......

If thoughts are energy(your assumption)then I suppose I could "squeeze one out."(my metaphor for the conversion of mind-energy into material form).
