When I was a student 25 more years ago, i was with Barclays. credit card, atm. All British Banks would be similar. Get your local bank to recommend.

Barclays were amazing for me when I was a student offering interest free overdrafts and offers when you join. Just never get a credit card or store card with any one if you want to finish your education debt free

Halifax offer the best student overdraft. I think it's £2100 for 5 years interest free. Go to www.halifax.co.uk to find out more. Would steer clear of Barclays if I were you. They throw things at you while you're studying and as soon as you finish, they're not interested!
