DAE:
No, a persons preference for the opposite sex is her/his choice. Every woman, Black, Asian, Native American, Caucasion, Russian, or European have their specialties. A woman is a fine tuned, educated, intelligiant, soft skinned, romantic soul. Personally I look at women as an uplifting, free spirit...Their beauty is well known. Their softness and hair are the most loveliest, their eyes also-although BEWARE! Some of that beauty is false.faced and camoflauged! A person has different things they see in a woman-our dislikes and likes often turn us upside down. Personalitys, culture, skin color, religions have a tendency to rule ones choices. Their is nothing wrong with free choices. One chooses their soul mates, girlfriends, boyfriends, etc. by their own preferences and standards(but don't set to high a standered) Just because one is not turned on to a black female, or another female-does not mean you predjudice. One learns through experiance and wisdom of treating everyone the same.I have met many people in my time. In different countrys, cultures, religions, and colors, and creeds. You learn by trial and error. But don't feel your predjudice because you dislike certain women, that is a natural feeling.. hope I answered your question...Have a Great Day! :) :) :)

Anyone who answers yes! to this question IS a racist because these are the people who continually think of blacks as a different culture and not just as other people trying to live a life without being continually reminded about their race, colour or creed. Not all people find different races attractive...You're No racist mate...
Who here thought 'The General Lee' in 'The Dukes of Hazzard' had any racial significance what-so-ever, Not me...until it was pointed out to me of course by some stupid over-the-top woman.

In it's purest definition racism is when you notice the color of a person's skin or their heritage. Prejudice is when you act upon preconceived notions. So if you choose not to find black women attractive simply because of the color of their skin, then yes, you are experiencing racial thoughts. If you act upon your thoughts and become hateful or ignorant then you are acting upon your prejudice which makes you very unattractive.
And btw, we all do this, we have not progressed as a people to the point of not "judging" someone by the color of their skin, or for any physical characteristic for that matter, such as their sex, age, color of hair, etc.
Whether or not this is acceptable is fodder for debate. Many believe that it is acceptable to only date within ones own race. Just be who you are and don't intentionally cause any harm. Peace.

If they don't fancy ANY Black women, then it sounds very likely to me! ...
at the risk of generalising, is it that the silky black, brown, red or golden skin, stretched over well-defined, muscled bodies with impossibly straight, dancer-like backs that intimidate Mr/Ms Pasty-faced Slouch?
Many black women I have met have minds like diamonds, sharp, clear and very much their own person, often surprisingly unconcerned by, even compassionate towards the ignorance of white bigotry, a sure sign of inner strength.
I also found many black women's sense of humour can crease-up stainless steel, and few white women can move like a black woman!.
Coupled with the growing numbers in the top professions - and their penchant for dressing and moving with style and elegance.... WHAT'S NOT TO FANCY?

I would say that someone is not a racist just because they do not find black women attractive - but I would question your criteria. Should it perhaps be - fat women, skinny women, blond women, women with glasses, young women, old women - the list is endless - what does the colour of their skin have to do with it? If it does, then I would class you as a racist.

Of course it's not racism! I wouldn't want a black lover, but I do have some black friends.
At the same time, I don't think I'd be with a big, muscley guy. Doesn't mean I hate them. :)

Not necessarily. Racism is the active and outward practice of insulting or behaving differently towards somebody because of their ethnicity or race.
I don't go for a physical or ethnic type. I go for the individual woman (or did when I was single).

From a dictionary. Racism=Function: noun
'a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race'.
So the answer is no.

Heck, no. Racism implies hate, just because of the color of skin. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder (ugh a cliche)... so behold other women as beautiful. But, if you wouldn't be "just friends", I might think that racism is a factor.
