i have what looks like a coin but is called a bail seal circa.1700s1800s it came in on ships do you have info.

Think you mean BALE seal. They were put on the intersections of wire or cordage used to secure bales of goods transported by ship. They were certification that the bale was as listed on the bill of lading and that it had not been tampered with.
