If one is addicted to a pain med does it have any effects on the brain? Weed makes ya high and kill brain cells. Do pain meds affect the brain like that too since it makes one high! Just curious!

Well, I have been taking pain meds for my foot, it might increase your euphoric cells in your brain, they are cells that make you feel good and there is no negativity in your mind, but then when you come down you feel sad, if you are taking pain meds I hope it is because you need them to get through the day and not just for the high. Look them up on the internet, that helped me. Good luck.

All meds cloud the brain, legal or illegal. If one is addicted then one needs to seek help fast before mental deterioration sets in permanently. Then one can't function normally.'
