how to tell someone who is suppose to be ur boyfriend ever so kindly that he has bad breath?
it is nasty gross but i always end up offering him a gum or candy thinking maybe he'll get the hint but he doen't get the hint

Then go a little bit more direct. Tell him that he must drink more cooling tea cos he must be heat inside. If he still can't get the hint then tell him directly or he will not good for him either.

It could be a health problem. Maybe you can tell him that he needs to see a dentist because it could be life threatening if it goes untreated. Breath mints and candies could only be masking a more serious problem.

Wait till he is in a good mood and smile and say 'honey' have you changed something because your breath has 'started' to smell weied. SOmetimes its from not eating right.

If he is your bf, you don't need to be kind, tell him straight that his breath stinks and he needs to brush his teeth after each meal.
