He dosen't throw up all the time but when he does he is usually sick for a few days. I don't think it is the flu as it has been happening a lot and I have not been sick. He is not on any other meds other than a daily low dose apsirin to keep his blood thin. His Dr. has not been much help. I would rather he not take these as he seems to be sick and it is not helping much in helping with his pain management. Plus being sick is preventing him from getting back to work sooner than later!

Although nortriptyline can cause an upset stomach, it can't be pleasant. Call his prescribing Dr. regarding his medication. He should suggest a substitute that does not cause him to throw up, or, cut down the dosage (then gradually increase until tolerated.)

If his doctor is not helpful, demand action. Be strong and don't allow any Dr. to talk down to you or use intimidation tactics. Get another Dr. if this one can't be bothered. You need someone who cares!

Best wishes to you and your husband...sincerely.

Dear you need to seek out a new Doctor all doctors are not good ones.
This does not sound normal but there again I am no doctor.
seek out someone in the field of neurology they may be able to tell you more about want is going on and more willing to help.
And then if they don't profide you with the help you need keep looking until you find the help you need.

ask your Doctor is there a different medicine he can prescribe for him that this one is making him sick. Your Doctor should change it and find one that works for your husband. If he not willing to change it I would find another Doctor.
