on what basis do u decide to watch a movie in theater ?

I like to see ones with big scenic views and major fx. They are just something that you can't experience at home. Love movies like Lord of the Rings and Star Wars in the cinema....the experience just surrounds you!

Usually I don't go to the theater. I did 2 last year though. I went to see Harry Potter & Star Wars. The only reason I went to see those is because I loved the other Star Wars & Harry Potter movies. Usually when I've never heard of a movie I won't see it in a theater, but I'll wait until it comes on tv to watch. I wanted to see Da Vinci Code in theaters, because it looked really good, but I nver got a chance. I would like to see material girls & snakes on a plane in theaters, but I doubt I'll get the chance.

I have to be real eager to see a movie in the theater. If I enjoyed the book, and think that the movie will do it justice I will go. I am a sucker for most anything by Stephen King, James Bond movies, the Friday the 13th series, and Austin Powers movies. Otherwise it has to be something so compelling that would make me pay that kind of money.

Any movie that I see advertised and it appears to be something I would want to see at a theater I'm likely to go see. That could be any type of movie.

I usually go for something that's funny, that way I have a good time in the theater. Funny movies are my favorite category.

Closest theater is 25 miles away so I don't see any there. I prefer to watch them at home anyway.

It has to be something REALLY special for me to want to pay that much for a movie. I go maybe 2-3 times a year.

I base my choices on the how much it will make me laugh or feel good. I prefer movies that make me laugh, psychological thrillers, or a really good chick flick. I love drama as well, depending on what the story is about.

A solid story line, deep and intense drama, good directing & acting or all things that I try to avoid...Special effects, big budget, no sense making movies r 4 moi...
