Most of the ideas that come to peoples mind when they think of 'love' is not what love really is....for example, we think that we would willing to die for someone we 'love' but when that person leaves us for someone else, our feeling for them changes and sometimes so instantly.
As for the question, is love real, seers/the wise ones say it is quite real, it never rests and is the source of all creation, it is of the nature of giving and is a joy. Take care
