Prevent ingrown hairs by dabbing on witch hazel after shaving or waxing.
Use baby wipes to clean make-up brushes fast.
Don't pump your mascara brush in the tube.it forces in air, which can dry out the mascara.
Swipe Chapstick on your cuticles to keep them hydrated.
Just a few things i learned from cosmogirl magazine!♥

First off, take good care of your skin. Drink tons of water and be sure to wash your face every morning and every night before you go to bed. That's most important. Eat healthy and take care of yourself. Taking these steps alone, with discipline will improve your skin tons!
Good skincare is key! The Murad Acne system is by far one of the best product lines on the market. The price tag is a little higher than your average CVS brand products, but it's well worth it for gorgeous skin. You can buy the whole system for a 30-day supply at Sephora (www.sephora.com) and I would recommend it highly.
Last, use a foundation that doesn't contain any skin irritants. Without seeing your face, it's hard to tell which products might be best for you.. but I've found that Bare Escentuals works great for most people. It also comes in a starter set at Sephora with the brushes for flawless coverage. A good brush set is SO important when applying makeup and most people don't make the investment. Which is why I love this set because you get some great brushes to start out with. Plus, BE is great for your skin.
PS. The Murad spot treatment works like a dream for shrinking those little devils overnight.

You need to prepare your skin for your foundation. The trick is to use a matte moisturizer, use concealer, and then apply a primer and then the foundation. Also, look into Prescriptives foundations as these create great and flawless effect. If you want a mineral version, try everydayminerals.com. Everyday Minerals are great and create flawless skin. The company sends samples for free so you can try them before committing to them.

you might want to reconsider using any liquid foundation. try just using a good powder and appy with a brush. remember to apply down the neck line to even the color out.

it sounds kinda cheap but it works...cuz i've never broke out...but what i do after the day is over at least twice or three times a week is wash really well with antibacterial soap, then with toothpaste, then i take a cotton ball or cosmetic pad or cotton ball and go over my face with alcohol and/or peroxide. and avoid any contact w/ your face and your hands or anyone elses for that matter..
