Microarrays are the hottest thing right now.
(DNA microarrays
Tissue array slides, Protein array chips, etc.)
Spinning disk confocal microscopes are amazing.
Mass spectrometers -- they are getting more and more advanced. They detect and identify trace amounts of proteins and other substances

I can't tell you the latest laboratory/Biological equipments because I don't know, but I can tell you the latest Government /Biological experiments and your included.
Have you ever heard of population control????
The death rate amongst seniors and baby boomers is a wonderful number to the Government. The more die the better off we are. WAR is one answer. the other is Bilogical Warfare right here in the Unites States and your included.
My last visit ti the Bio-Research center has a security that is unreal. If somethings goes wrong you don't go home after work you die right in the building.
