..when I hear today that a 4 year old boy was tied to a tree and hit with a brick across the head by an 11 year old.It must be stressed at this stage these are initial reports but what is known is the boy has a fractured skull.I have a 4 year old myself. This has destroyed the one strand of faith I had left in humanity. Is this what we will come to expect in the 21st century,so much so,that we,God forbid, become sanatised to it;like when we hear of yet more soldiers dying in Iraq.
How can such evil penetrate the mind of,if the reports are true, such a young child and what hope is there left when children try to kill children?

I think the world has lost its innocense. Its ok for someone to tell me to focus on the good things, but when I have a 4 year old child who will, eventually,be exposed to the nastiness of some children,I FEAR.I don't see good.I see and feel outright fear for the life my child will have.Violence, drugs, and a genral breakdown in society.
No,I'm sorry.I can't see too much good in a world at war with itself

I have a feeling this is just the tip of the iceberg.

This is what happens to a country where all the 'touchy-feely'kinds want to pretend that everything in life is like the fairy tales.

Kids today have too much free time and no constructive way to spend it. Parents don't want to deal with the children they produced, so they give them all the 'coolest, newest games', and shrug all responsibility of raising a child with compassion and caring.

It's spooky. Teach your child well, make your child be kind to others and appreciate the little things in life. Don't buy your little one everything they want all the time. They'll be better inside and outside.

Good Luck & Don't Give Up Or Give In!

These are extreme aberrations from normality. Our society punishes 11 year olds that attack 4 year olds with juvenille detention, i.e., JAIL. The reason that this is on the news is that happens so rarely - it does happen, but fortunately not very often. It is disgusting and sad, but don't concentrate on this - think about the good people out there doing good things that you may never even hear about. Also, and 11 year old may not realize the seriousness of what they are doing. It makes you wonder where the parents were though, doesn't it? Where did an 11 year old get the idea to do something like this? As the child is a minor, the parents may be held legally responsible, and if the situation warrants it, they might do some jail time too. I hope the 4 year old recovers.

This subject scares me to death!! My advice to people is to not have children in this time and day. I don't even want my son to go to school cause their are so many "Nut Cases" out their. Who in their right mind would want to molest a small child, why would someone want to kidnap ANY child and rape her and torture and even kill such beautiful creatures from God. And a father who would want to have sex with their own child, all the copy-cats that want to go to school and shoot their friends. Kids do not have ANY respect for anyone else at all, their parents, their teachers, people on the road. I do not understand why their is so much evil in the world and the people that are committing these acts of violence, what is wrong with them that they can not see how bad they are. Not All kids are like this but I really think that at least 60% are. How can we get through to these people and help the children of the world realize they are the only ones who can change it by being good and loving and have compassion for one another.

Children live what they learn. They are bombarded by images of violence by the media on a daily basis. Underneath anger is pain and obviously this eleven year old boy was in pain to do this. It is a sad commentary of our times that anyone would hurt a child. However, I feel that this cancer starts at the very level of our government in their attempts to control humanity. The following archive paints a chilling portrait of what is really going on in the upper echelons of the ruling elite here in America. The story involves children from orphanages in Nebraska being flown around the United States by top Republican officials in order to engage in child sex orgies with America's ruling elite. It is a fact that during the 1980's, child sexual services were provided by top Republican officials to key, bureaucrats and diplomats but most importantly, there is a chilling proximity of all of these events and personalities, to the President of the United States at the time, George H.W. Bush. And there have been victims who claim that the President himself engaged in the activities. It is a tale of child sex, murder, espionage, blackmail, and huge payoffs. And all the players are involved. From the White House to the CIA to the media barrons to the Republican elite - right down to the orphanages where they procured their victims. Check out the full story.

This particular prayer caused quite a stir. A Kansas minister, The Rev. Joe Wright was asked to give the opening prayer for a session of the Kansas Senate. This was his prayer:

“Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask Your Forgiveness and to ask Your Direction and Guidance. We know You Word Says, Woe to those who call evil good, but that is exactly what we have done.
We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values.
We confess that we have ridiculed the absolute truth of Your Word and called it Pluralism.
We have worshiped other g-ds and called it multiculturalism.
We have endorsed perversion and called it alternative lifestyle.
We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.
We have killed our unborn and called it choice.
We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.
We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem.
We have abused power and called it political.
We have coveted our neighbor’s possessions and called it ambition.
We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom or speech.
We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.
Search us, Oh G-d, and let know our hearts today: cleanse us from every sin and set us free. Guide and bless these men and women who have been sent to direct us to the center of Your Will, and we ask in the Name of Your Son, the living Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.”

So, don’t blame the kids. It’s the fault of the adults. Us. You and I. We have allowed all the above and more. Is there hope?
As long as there is life, there is hope. Have you done your part?
