Is hydrogen cost more than petrol?

The energy required to produce hydrogen from water or methane (or any other source) will always be greater than the energy you would then get from burning it again. Therefore, hydrogen fuel can never be practical. Petrol is different; it already exists in crude oil, and doesn't have to be produced, only distilled from the oil, which requires less energy.

Water (H20) is like the ash left over when you burn hydrogen with oxygen. Just as you cannot use the ashes in a fireplace to build a cozy fire, you cannot use water as a fuel to drive a car. Of course you can use the ashes in a fireplace to help fertilize and grow a new tree for firewood. And in like manner you could use energy (electricity and electrolysis) to separate water into oxygen and hydrogen and use the hydrogen as fuel. In fact some fuel cells do use hydrogen as fuel to drive cars.

A car can drive by its just to expensive, but if you got a couple million dollars for hydrogen fuel cells, it would be better for the environment because it puts the hydrogen and oxygen together, which creates energy and the only byproduct is pure water.

Hydrogen is very explosive and fairly expensive. Getting hydrogen out of water requires a significant amount of energy, so you can't run a car that way.

Cars can and do run on hydrogen. No, it doesn't cost more for hydrogen than for petrol. The problem is the vehicles cost more to make and maintain. Right now if you flooded the market with such vehicles they wouldn't have many places to fuel either.

Cars have been engineered to run on hydrogen and yes it is very expensive ( currently ) to separate out usable hydrogen for the current cars.

Hydrogen is highly combustible but by changing its chemical energy into electrical [eg fuel cells] it can be employed as a motor fuel.

Learn to speak dude..........seriously.....how hard is it to ask:

"Why can't cars run on hydrogen? Does hydrogen cost more than petrol?"

Take more time, write clearer!

And to answer........it's prob bc they haven't developed the technology yet

Wether you supply up television, internet, smoking, eating out, that's substantial to attempt and keep a dogs at that's healthiest suitable off the bat so which you do no longer inevitably could desire to worry approximately vet charges all that plenty. additionally i could desire they could a minimum of have vet in innovations that has fee plans and a few thing they could pawn If mandatory in case of an emergency. It in fact comes right down to thinking and being accountable, interior the tip. merely in view which you do no longer inevitably have money does not advise you won't have the capacity to think of forward merely in case. If a man or woman could no longer arise with the money for that, and are suffering to assist themselves, then of course no pets. i could fairly a dogs be positioned down interior the guard than its basic desires be surpassed over. some may even see it as "saving a existence" yet what form of existence is that once you're ill and your guardians, people who stored you and enjoyed you and are meant to guard you, won't have the capacity to do something for you? it relatively is much greater saddening to me; getting a house however the dogs nonetheless dropping its existence interior the long-term because of the fact the human beings won't have the capacity to arise with the money for it.
