Yes, she can get a divorce without you signing. It will take a little longer and may cost a little more, but she can still get the divorce. If she goes so far in the process as to have the papers serve, she is serious. If the two of you are still friends, maybe that is all the relationship you will be able the have with her. You may need to decide if having her in your life as a friend is better than not having her in your life at all. If you make this too difficult, you may even loose the friendship.

Mate, right now at this very minute I am waiting for the threatened papers to arrive. My wife only left me on 3rd July, by text i would mention and refuses to see me. I have been thinking if she really has been to the solicitor or whether its a threat to get a reaction. Either waythe pain and loss are unbearable because like you Im still very much in love with my wife and watching her walk away from 21 years together for no good reason other than she wants to party all night with 20 year olds is heartbreaking. Stick it out mate Im only just realising that, my head will not drop off without her and I can still live without her in my life, even though it will hurt every day. Some people just dont care that they are loved and dont want it cos they cant give it back. Stay lucky

How do you expect us to tell you if she would have gotten the divorce anyways if you had not signed the divorce papers?
Either party can file for divorce. You don't have to agree on it. It is a divorce not a agreement.

In GOD's eye or not you have fallen from her heart.
She was wounded enough by something to divorce.
PAIRS international is an incredible program that has saved ours.
Best wishes.
If by chance this divorce does happen find the peace to release it all that pain and anger. When you both release that, both can go one with love and happiness.

not at that point.. you can do a non contested divorce or a divorce that you both agree on or let the courts decided.
it seems that you want the marriage and she doesn't...my best advice is get an attorney and negotiate via that way...the communication lines are down in that marriage.

you both would have to go to court. if you didn't sign she could get a lawyer and you both would have had to be seperated a year and have counseling to try to make it work if you didnt want it and she did. if it still didnt work out then you would go to court divorce would be final.
