The pc doesn't determine the writing speed. This is a function of the cd drive. Make sure you have your firmware up to date for your cd drive as manufacturers can increase writing speeds with new firmware. You will get this from the cd manufacturers website. If you write at a speed which is too high for the discs you have then you will just end up with corrupted data. Better to take things slowly as it will cost you time in the end if you have to re-write.

Hello,
As ur trying to write the data in the cd with 52x speed.
this can be Happens only when the cd compatible support it.
ie., each cd manufacturer co's CD's will differ from other.
The maximum for some of them will be 24x.
if u need to write the cd in 52x speed buy a cd with can support the 52x speed
have a nice time

Well, assuming the blank CD's you are writing to can support 52x the only way to increase that would be to buy a faster CD Burner.

The speed is governed by the drive itself. If you have a 24x writer that's it's maximum. The only way to go faster is to replace the drive.

If you're going to follow the advice of trying to change the settings, why not try and find the other settings like "Faster Processor" and "More RAM" too?
