The voters do have a say. But it seems we as American citizens would rather have our opinions feed to us by political parties, corrumpt politicians, and the media. Politicians care about 1 thing votes. So if we make the Diebold machines, and fair elections an issue , and hold our politicians accountable than the issue can be solve.

IT IS OUR FAULT THAT OUR POLITICIANS GET OVER ON US!!!

Eh, I have to say I sort of think that voting is just for show. I mean, look at the electorail college... they could just say f**k it and elect whomever they want; however, I don't think that would fly, even if it is legal. I do vote, but I don't think that it counts for a whole lot. You have to have money to run and get elected, so that kinds of let's ya know it's not just anyone who can get elected.

(Yes, my responce is sort of rambling, but you get the idea... it's early, ok?!?)

Just look at the politics of the voting systems in Florida . Its a joke who is in charge of them.

I think we do have a say but if it is close enough where it can be altered than I believe it is and will continue you to be bogus (in both directions, depending on who is in charge in that state).

You get to vote so you feel like you have some say. The corporations (money), decides who will be in power.

no and if you took the time to understand the system and come to your own conclusion you would not be so quick to come up with a question like that!
