Dont lump all Chrysler Voyagers together just because yours is having problems. It just gives the American car bashers more ammo. I had an 89 Caravan which was 7 years old when I got it and it ran fine. Took it on a cross country trip. The previous owners had beat the crap out of it and it still ran like a champ.

The cheapest cars to run are those supplied in greatest number, Ford or Vauxhall. The parts are made here, and not just by the manufacturers. My Vauxhall Corsa has never let me down. The most reliable car you can buy is a Honda Jazz.

American cars leave a lot too be desired.
Even the desire I have for certain cars lasts only until I get in them.
If you want a big powerful car that goes in a straight line, and you love tinkering with in the garage every weekend - You cannot beat an American car.
Any other use - Stay away.

older Chrysler's are cheaply built because they where going out of business. Luckly it didn't happen. Plus a power sterring pump goes bad because of being neglected. Not keeping the fluid up or not changing the fluid when needed.

Mine was great apart from the 18 miles to the gallon. Maybe if you learnt to spell, you could read the motoring press and find cheaper parts.

Pretty much tells the story of MB and Chrysler. The problems are legend and so are the parts costs.
