I recently asked the question 'would you eat another person?' and to my suprise it seems like a lot of people would rather starve in a life or death situation. As such I have decided that I will get a tattoo on my leg stating that in a life or death situation if I am already dead you may in fact eat me. This will mean that you are absolved from all guilt and may lead a happy life. What do you think?

Don't concern yourselves with the disfiguring aspect it's not my first tattoo. I already have a few.

Shane i don't think just cos its a tattoo that it is necessarily a legal document or in fact a spiritual absolvment of the said predicament. I think you should keep away from air planes and boats so you don't put temptation in peoples paths. After all they may see the said tattoo before you die and then KILL YOU!!!!!!! yikes. Also you may get one of them nutters wot want to eat people and advertise to do so befriending you and then claim that you topped your self and they just followed instructions.

i'm still not sure I would even if I had managed to strip you, find the tattoo, believe it and then somehow get you into a pot, so for me it probably wouldn't make me eat you.
Having said that I haven't yet been in such a situation where the only way to survive would be to eat someone else, if I was, and you were there, I might take you up on the offer, always assuming you were dead first. If that makes any sense at all.?

I am a vegetarian anyway so would like to think that i would not eat you even with your express permission. That being said,probably better have it in more than one place, eg back,arm and leg. In extreme situations (air crash etc)it may be that you have lost the limb carrying the permission and so your wishes may not be transferred to your unlucky companions, which would be a shame after all the consideration and trouble you went to.
Just seen paradoxs comment, how inconsiderate could you get eating the tattood bit first "tch",

Well Lad, have you nothing else to worry about? I am sure your Tattoo is wonderful, but lets face it when do you think you will be in a life and death situation, this is not the movies. Even if you was who would want to eat a corpse covered in tattoos.?

Any tattoo is a pretty horrible idea, but if that's the way you want to permanently disfigure yourself, why should anyone be interested in it?

iv got 3 ..one scorpion ,,3inch long ... a Tiger 9"long and a Celtic flame 9x4inch... also my blood group and contact details on a Barcode tattoo ( Lazar cut )on my arm.

I think any tatoo is a bad idea. Why is the world do people want to mark up their bodies. Makes no sense to me.

I think it a funny idea, maybe be better tattooing a donor card on instead though.
