We had 9 planets initially but now we have 8 planets according to the International Space Center meeting held at Prague recently.

Your question is a wrong.
We have eight planets now and the bodiues which were in consideration to be named as planets are 2003 UB313 or "Xena" and Charon which is pluto's largest moon.

I refuse to see Pluto discarded from the list of Planets after all
