An American friend of mine overstayed 3 months earlier this year, he paid P7,300 at the airport. Most travel agents will renew your visa for you, just takes a few days and a small charge.

I just recently had this happen to me while visiting my expectant wife in the Philippines. What you need to do is go to the local Immagration office. You will fill out the paper work and pay a small 2000 peso fee. That is all you will have to do. All people have to pay a 550 peso exit fee or 10.50 us exit fee at the Manila International Air Port when you leave.

Better to just extend prior to the 21 day expiration. Easy to do and much cheaper than paying the fines.

If you turn yourself in to INS you will usually get off with a 3 year prison sentence but if they catch you first you will probably get a 10 to 20 year term.
