So...I have a little brother and as you can imagine he is always questioning my authority by asking "why" in response to anything I say. As much as I love him, that would be the one word sentence I absolutely hate to hear (by the end of the day).

I agree with Tammy C, bleh,
but also, the 'N-word', whether used negatively or in that joking way guys do,
and on the same note, any variation of 'I'm not racist, I like some black people' (My grandmom likes to say that 'there are some good black people just like there are some bad white people')
and any variation on 'You are too young to have kids'
and any statement beating around the bush to ask age. By which I mean, just say 'How old are you?' Don't go, 'Gee, you look young to have kids. You look so young. I was 17 when I had my first. You look young to have kids.' in a questioning tone.

It is such a half hearted question which requires no thought previous to asking it shows no depth in wanting to know you and retain information about you.
