In the uk well Im not sure about dates exactly, But

Winter- December, January and February
Spring- March, April and May
Summer- June, July and August
Autumn- September Ocotber and November

The southern hemisphere's seasons are the opposite to the Norhern hemispheres if you didnt know. For example when it's summer in the UK it's Winter in Australia.

The seasons are not defined by which country you are in but in where you are globally. In the Arctic there would seem to be only two seasons ( winter / summer ), same in equatorial parts of the globe ( although "winter" is the rainy season. ) Its only in the more temperate climes ( regions between the poles and the equator ) that have four discernible seasons.

You may also remember that, the closer to the equator you get, the less variation you see in seasonal changes. Some places its like summer all year long, with no clear cut spring, winter, or fall.

If you live on earth...you deal with four seasons...
However, south of the equator, when we have winter, they have summer, when we have spring, they have fall...In other words, they are always on the polar oposite season we are. Of course, close to the equator, their summers and winters would feel the same, both beeing "cooler" than spring and fall.

I'm Australian, and here our seasons are:

Summer:- December, January, February
Autumn:- March, April, May
Winter:- June, July, August
Spring:- September, October, November.

We celebrate Christmas in summertime, so our Santa Claus wears board shorts and lives at the beach... hehe.
