Whats not "smooth" Any door swings on hinges and its shut place hardware need to be aligned. What's wrong? If the door is swinging too low but a 4x4 under the door and lift it up....

The striker may need adjusting or just some lube. But it really sounds like the hinges are shot. Open the door and grab the lower corner furthest from the hinge and lift. If it moves up and down, the pins and bushings are worn. A repair kit(if available) or new hinges are required to properly repair.

You can go to a Ford dealer or any reputable shop for this.

Any quality body shop can help you, and it should not cost that much.
