Our wedding was taped via VHS.
We watch it every weddding anniversary.
Plus my kids have all the Disney movies on VHS from when they were little. I won't get rid of them...someday I;ll have grandchildren and it will be fun to watch them giggle at this
"obsolete technology".
Just hope my VHS player holds up...do they still sell VHS players - haven't really thought of checking that out lately at Best Buy!.

I know someone who still does, he has a TV and a ton of VHS tapes at his shop. He bought a huge bin of them at a garage sale this old lady was having for pretty much nothing. They nearly fill up a bookcase. I last watched a VHS tape maybe a month ago in Forensic Science class. It was pretty neat, something about identifying firearms evidence. There was this guy who was shot, and the video showed us how they found the killer by figuring out which gun the bullet came from and who it was registered to. BQ: None. I use Netflix now. BQ2: I gave them to someone who used to be my neighbor.

We still have lots of VHS tapes. My kids have a tv/vcr combo in their room, so I buy VHS for them rather than have them beat up dvds. We also have lots of made for tv movies I've taped over the years that I keep because they will never be released on dvd.

I have a big collection of VHS. Between what I brought my kids over the years and also for myself our collection was rising well over 100.
Then my local video store was selling their entire stock of VHS for $1 each tape, and I brought up.
The last time i counted we were just above 400.

Yes, I still do have VHS tapes. Most of them are recorded hand me-downs that have since became my favorites....thus,I cannot part with them for technology (DVDs).

Not really, but I still do own a VCR that is older than I am. The only way I can connect a DVD player or my PS2 to my TV via RF.
