hmmm... Malaysia?!? Germany? Maybe they should concentrate on trying to qualify for 2011!
In the meantime, from the actual teams that are competing:
Australia must be considered favourites, and although they are not as invincible as they were 4 years ago, they are still the strongest ODI side in the world. The other teams to consider are probably Sri Lanka, South Africa and Pakistan, who's ODI form has been good and consistant lately. I would have said India, as they are usually a very strong ODI side, but their very poor showing in their recent ODI series in the West Indies must cast grave doubts over their ability to perform in the Caribbean. England just have too many injuries interrupting their preperation, and none of the other 10 sides are good enough.

i think it will either be India, Sri Lanka, or Australia. India have been a whole new side since Dravid became captain. They've shown poise and to me they look ready to take on the world. Their batting is also lethal with the likes of superstars such as Tendulkar, Sehwag, Dhoni, Yuvraj, and Dravid. The Sri Lankans also look like favorites since theyre on the top of their game. Their batsmen such as Jayawerdene, Sangakkara, and Jayasuriya have been really dangerous of late and lets not forget Murali and his magic. Finally the Aussies. The Aussies are dominant side and theres little doubt about it. They have almost every weapon in their arsenal in both batting and bowling. however, they are definitely not unbeatable as South Africa showed in that magical game in the Wanderers. I don't think other teams are as ready as these three to win that trophy.

No doubt itz going to be Australia...But still cricket can change upside down @ any moment so @ least until Semi finals, they are going to be the side which is very tough to beat...

However, since this world cup will be hosted by West Indies then Pakistan & South Africa will have greater chances coz they have good pace bowlers (Asif & Shoaib for Pak & Pollock & Ntini for for SA) which is going to be their key weapon in the fast track pictches of WI but ofcoz India may have chances but still they will struggle to bowl in WI turf.

Sri lanka too have very good chance to go till Semis since they have batsmen who are capable to bat against especially pace bowlers rather spinners and ofcourse Murali & Vass is there to take care the bowling department.

Sri lanka, India and Australia has very good chances in this World Cup
No other team looks that well prepared or balanced.

Personally I would love to see Australia or India win.........but i think it is Sri Lanka who has better chances with lot more depth in battting and bowling and fielding, good mix of experience(Jaysurya-explosive top order batsman, Muralitharan - one of the best spinners in this world, Chaminda Vaas - Accurate and relentless attack, Attapatu - Solid Defensive Batting) and youthfull energy.(Mahela - Good all round batting skills and Sangakkara - one of the best wicket keeper batsman)
The only weak link is fast bowling(needed in the helpfull conditions for fast bowlers in the carribean) other than Chaminda vaas.. no other bowler is threat enough for the opposing batsman.

hmmmm..... probable the united states of a, because of the fact, aside from england, they have the main gamers of their squad that i've got heard of (howard, beasley, edu and altidore- i comprehend.... get me lol), i might've supported france (no longer fairly as much as a scotsman in a kilt yet frenchman are exceedingly greater healthful) yet they couldnt save their hands to themselves (i grow to be surely rooting for the rep of eire after scotland have been out grr it is been a foul marketing campaign) so it is us of a or italy like final twelve months or brazil like the time earlier that yet fairly..... A.B.E and that i would be happy lol =D bonus q- levein has inspired me better than i presumed he might, he's hardship-free with of the acceptable team, has given gamers a clean initiate (we want boyd etc interior the area and are too skinny and bare devoid of him), he have been given the win against the czech rep and has been lots greater promising than burley. with the addition of promising childrens (thomson-hearts, wilson- rangers, cairney- hull, etc) coming interior the direction of the ranks, showing high quality and recuperating older gamers interior the rush for places, we are able to purely advance on what has been a dark few years for the area and with a bit of luck qualify for euro and previous.... ahh now i'm dreamin =)
