I remember getting lost at the mall and not really minding that I couldn't find my parents. I think it was the first time I was "on my own." I did a little window shopping, asked strangers to buy me ice cream...hahah...I was a cute kid, so it was easy to get stuff. Nobody thought I was actually "lost" because I wasn't crying or anything. My folks eventually found me hanging out with some teenagers.
I know I was 5 because my mom keeps reminding me of the story and saying I'm too independent for my own good.

There are many things like the place where we lived, the friends that I had, the games that we played, And even some of the events that help shape my life into what it is today ( 43 years later)

It was a dream I had in 1972 when I was about 5. My parents, sister and brother were on a kiddie train leaving the mall. I was just watching them leave and wondering where they were going. They had super big heads like characitures that you get at the fair and it was all in technicolor. I still have crazy dreams like that

I can recall so many events during that time. The one I always recall is my father going on a business trip to Washington D.C.
Which was 35 years ago.

I remember being in a family picture. I had chili stains on my shirt.[I still wear what I eat] I was clutching on my shirt hoping to hide my mess from the camera.
