Okay I wanted to send a music file through yahoo mail to a friend. Okay. Well I go to compose, then I got to attach files, then I go to browse, then I go to local disk c, then I go to my music, and where all my music should be there is not even one file! However if I were to just want to listen to my music I’d go to start, my music, and its all there. But I can’t send it from there. So my question is why can I access my music files from outside of mail (like if I only wanted to listen to them) But when I want to send them to someone, they are not there? I have sent them in the past, and they have always been there. So why are they now gone?

It is because they are store elsewhere.
click on start > search > (picture, music,video) >
enter *.mp3 in the box ( star dot mp3) and click search. You will see a list of all your mp3 files on your computer. Note down in which folder they are stored. that's all.

Do a search for the music files (*.mp3) or if that doesn't work go into the program that you are playing the music from and see where it is getting the files from. The files may be in the shared music folder, try looking there.

ZIP the music file.... use WINZIP or other similar software... try to make small small ZIP files, may be 1-5 songs... then attached to yahoo, smaller file are easier to attach, or upload to your yahoo briefcase and send share to friend

Try C:\Documents and Settings\[your_user_name]\My Documents\My Music

Replace [your_user_name] with the user name with which you're logged on. If you click the Start button, your user name will be shown at the top of the menu.
