I had Purchase the gas from a Sunoco And about 6minutes later I've notice that my car started to putter And I had smelled Fuel. So the next day I went to Autozone and purchase some Dry Gas and Fuel Injectors but it seem like it didnt work. But I didnt fill my gas tank up though. So do I suppose to fill it up and then add the dry gas and Fuel injector cleaner?

if its already in your fuel line than you can't do anything until you burn it all out. Fill your gas tank with high octane ( I Recommend Sunoco Super 94 ) and Gumout it will help clean out your system.

Today Gasoline already has 10 to15% ethanol so by adding more dry gas might have made the car run worse. Really bad old gasoline will clog the fuel filtration system." And will have to be drained and refilled and at the very least a new fuel filter." If some one sabotaged and put sugar into the fuel system car will start and stall run a while and not crank up let it sit I might restart and eventually when the fuel injectors get enough sweet gummy they will plug up and never squirt properly again about $1,000 in parts for a four cyl car 2,000 for a V-6 car. Getting rid of bad gas? Start by drain and refill if your lucky you can get to the top of the tank by way of a cover that can be removed in the back seat area or trunk then remove the fuel tank sending unit and pump assembly carefully there is a float arm and float. Look down into the tank what is floating in there siphon out all the gas you can and slop up the rest with clean towels or rags, or have a professional do the job stale bad gasoline has to be disposed of properly.

First- don't go back to that gas station. Second- dry gas isn't going to do anything for bad gas, just for water in the tank- i've tried it and it didn't work... you want to use Lucas fuel additive

If you got a real bad dose of gas, you may need to buy a quart and put in there to burn it all off.

Third- next time you put your car in for an oil change, have the fuel filter replaced also.

You offer little to understand the problem. If its old gas it smells like shellac. You can get rid of it or dillute it with new gas....high octane is a waste of money. Gumout would work but Seafoam is what professionals use....
For sure if its bad and you keep running it it could affect your carb or injectors. If its not a huge quanity I would drain it out and start with fresh.

Heet and all that are nothing but alchol which absorbs water in the tank but doesn't get rid of it.

I really don't want to rain on your parade but a 15 year old vehicle sputteing has probably a lot of other more potential issues than "bad gas"....and I won't say ESPECTIALLY a Jeep becasue I don't want you to take it personally.

Bad Gas In Car

Use "Phillips 66" 93 octane. I thought my car needed a valve adjustment, but when I put the 93 octane ( Exxon is almost as good as Phillips 66 ) the 'pecking' sound went away. My car also ran smoother and had more power. More power = more mpg.

I drive a 4 cylinder Mazda and small differences in gasoline are more 'visible' with a 4 cylinder.

If it's puttering then u might have water in the gas,so just go to a different gas station and fill it up with different gas. That usually works for me.Plus there is dry gas u can buy at the station too. That helps too.
