hai iam ani please do the following to increase ur weight addpotatos either boiled or cooked onesin ur food then eat curd rice in the afternoon you must take 2 classes of milk a day then eat oil rich foods eat what ever u like you must eat 5 times a day eat potato chips choclates & in the early morning add 2 spoons of honey with 1 class of milk &take it regularly you may able to see the difference with in a week

Do plenty of exercises such as weights, this will build you up. Best thing is to get yourself a home multi gym that will help you to build muscle all over your body. also after a workout make sure you have a protein shake to repair your musles. Make sure you eat plenty of carbohydrates such as rice, potatoes, etc..if you stick to this you will see results..and dont eat junk food like others have suggested, this will make you feel bloated, lethargic and make you put on dirty weight which is what I call it.

To increase your weight it's quite simple.. just eat as MUCH as you want and eat all the wrong foods (junk food sweets sodas fast food) everything. You will def. gain a few pounds..
I have no clue what 40kgs is in lbs. but y would anyone want to gain weight unless .. are you severly under weight..??
