Chevroley Malibu Maxx with the 3.5L or 3.9L V6

3.5L 217hp 3.9L 240hp

Spacious passenger compartment

Good fuel economy and great power to weight ratio

Large cargo area

Great color choices and wheel packages

I don't own one, but if I were to give up my sports car that would probably be one of my top choices.

Oh and did I mention On Star!

Nearly 21,000 miles a year? In that case, I'd start with getting a fuel efficient car. How large an item do you have to carry? Some of the new mini-hatchbacks like the Honda Fit, Toyota Yarris / Scion, Nissan Versa, and Ford Focus are likely to be good choices. They can carry four adults - not always very well, but it's doable. And if the large item is too large, you can always rent a pickup truck. Home improvement stores often have very reasonable rates if you just need the truck for an hour or so.

Do yourself a favor look at the new Nissan Versa called Tidila in other markets 1.8 L engine and CVT transmission. Large enough inside fold down back seats for the largest items and amazing rear seat room for those grumpy in laws. Besides the car gets 36 mpg on highway Has intelligent key technology and blue tooth controls on the steering wheel So your phone rings thru the 200 watt am fm stereo mp-3 player with i-pod input and woofer. Voice recognition this car actually talks.

You'll need to look for one that has 4 wheels preferably. The car won't go far without them and they cost alot of money. Make sure it has 4 doors also aswell as a boot. Check before you buy that it has a steering wheel as these are very important and expensive to buy if it doesn't already have one. You might also want to check under the bonnet, make sure there is one first, to see that the engine is there. There's nothing worse than buying a car and finding out it has no engine as these are very, very, very expensive to replace and you will find that the car will not go anywhere without one so they are quite important. Make sure there is somewhere to sit once you are inside the car. Seats are very expensive too and it's quite uncomfortable if you discover that you don't have any. Finally, and I can't stress how important this is, make sure without fail that it has a cigarette lighter and one of those little boxes to keep your spare change in. If it doesn't have either of these, tell the seller to piss off as he's obviously a cheap conman. Contact the police and report him immediately, then throw some bricks through his windows and run away before they arrive.

Get something like a Honda Civic and rent a vehicle the times you need to carry large loads.

I suggest a minivan. The best of course is the Dodge minivan. They're pretty good on fuel economy, especially if you get a four cylinder. Plenty of room for passengers and large items. And if you take care of it like you should, it will last forever.
