The reason I ask this is becuase everytime someone sees a whale they get awe struck, Some people even cry from the beauty of the anilmal.
So do you get angry or say thank you?

I have been compared to a whale many times and I'm not insulted at all - I know that when I am swimming, I am a sight to behold and not for my girth but rather for my beauty while I swim .
I am proud of the gift i have to swim continuously without tire and i glide without splashing - I know that I don't have the best figure but the life guard says he gets great pleasure seeing me swim and likens me to Moby Dick. Which I know his is giving me a compliment

Big Jay, we are all different. I am a skinny little dude who is 54 years living. You question causes me to want to slap those people who would ever call you a whale. We are all different looking, thank god! You be you, and rise above the silly people. Listen here are many who love you just for who you are. As far as whale wale question, call them minnows!
Sometimes I get really mad at people!

saying someone's a whale can NEVER be a compliment. unless you know, you're in a whale look alike competition and the judges say: "your a whale! your a whale!" and that means you've won a lifetimes supply of whale biscuits or whatever.

the saying is you look like a beach whale , because a whale is big , when this is said to another person it means there are referring to that person as being big and fat , beauty is in the eye of the beholder

If a person says that you look like a whale, he/she is trying to say that you are fat. I would say that I might be fat, but I can lose weight. For you, you are ugly and that can never change. And stick out your tongue. Haha.

people are not talking about the majestic qualities of the biggest mammal on the planet, they are just referring to the massive size and amount of blubber. So I would have to say I would get angry if I were in that position.

Well...that is a tough one...good question...its comparing a human and animal...both mammals....well I guess its okay...cause Whale have many other good qualities too....so think of the good ones and be happy of it.....
