Yes indeed. There was a recent news item about a conservative pastor who informed his flock that the Christian church has no business meddling in politics ("When you gain the world, you lose the church," was his lesson). About twenty percent of the congregation didn't care for the lesson and left; but according to the story, many who stayed were relieved to hear someone say what they had only dared to think.
I had begun to fear that the godders were leading America down a most un-American path and that nobody would oppose them. I'm glad to learn that I was wrong.
And some of the young people on this board are really quite impressive. More power to 'em, I say.

yes, a friend i met here on answers, sent me a photo of a beautiful temple that is dedicated and named for world peace. in the name of God.
That really did make me see that not only are the other countries of the world ready to stop fighting. theya re ready to share their beliefs and hope for the whole world, not their little individual countries beliefs.
As a whole world we are growing closer together maybe. I hope so.

when you asked this question.. i started to think what restored my hope lately.. and i dunno why but t hink, the things that restored my hopes are forgotten by myself. and you help to remembter those things ^_^
