If you live as a couple in the same sense that heterosexual people do then yes I think you should. But then it also depends on the circumstances. Is it so he can study, is it because he earns alot less than you. There are alot of questions to ask yourself first. But if it is because he's just to lazy to support himself and be an active member of society, then no.

Is it a long term relationship? If it is then yes, there are gonna be times in ur life when ur employed and ur partner isn't and times when he is employed and u r not. Unless ur partner is just a lazy lay about or it is a short term thing, if that is the case make ur partner get a job or get out.

Absolutely. This is what I did in a hetero marriage and since gays want to have marriage legalized then they should do the same things that heteros do in their partnerships.I unlike many other heteros don't oppose gay marriage or the lifestyle.I'm divorced and in a relationship with a great little girl and I do this now as well.

Do you love him/her enough to do it? Are you earning enough to do it? Would you feel happy doing it for the rest of your life?

It depends. Why does he need support? If he is lazy bum, don't give him a nickel.
