Does it matter if it comes back into vogue or not? if you like it, listen to it, screw the herd, do u wanna be a sheep or a sheepdog? i suppose if you r making it then maybe you think differently, everything is cyclical, look at franz ferdinand, not original in any way shape or form but the cycle spins and those of us who grew up on Television,Talking Heads etc have to listen to these pale imitations being crowned as the saviours of music. Try Dukes of the Stratosfear (XTC under a different name) for a superb pastiche of psychedelic rock, wonderful.

With the death of Syd Barrett I started thinking about Pink Floyd again and went out and got a couple of the really early ones. I also found a rare album/group whilst I was at it. Love it.
For me they are back, my son hates it though!
As for a comeback, I dont think so - there is too much fizzy pop around, which is good - seperates the men from the boys.

Oh Dear God No. There is some psychadelic 'metal' and rock being produced. Some things have their time and are gone, like rock 'n' roll, and swing. Let it rest.
