It doesn't effect Hindu astrology at all, because pluto was not discovered till many years later(in the 1930s I think). Most kind of astrology was not affected by it either, because ikt was fully developed long before Pluto was Disovered

Pluto never had any effect on astrology.
Astrology is almost 5000 years old Indian science. The science is so perfect that even scientist of today have to accept that Pluto does not have any significance.
A planet can affect any person's horoscope, in case, the planet is having its shadow on a particular zodiac. This planet is situated so far from other planets that it's shadow never falls on any of the planets affecting people's lifecircle.
You can have a glance through any horoscope of any person of any ancient time, nowhere this planet has been mentioned that it is having a bad or good effect over a person's life.

Redefining something does not change what it is, and IF the planets as defined in astrology influenced human affairs, redefinition of Pluto would neither reduce nor enhance its alleged effects on us. Pluto, after all, wasn't discovered until 1930, and astrology-- like other superstitious beliefs-- goes back to ancient times when belief is magic and superstition were all we had. We have real science now, but it won't satisfy some people because, unlike astrology, it does not give easy answers to complex questions.

first of all. Astrology questions are in other category, but because of Pluto's denomination I'll give my answer.
There is no effect of Pluto's denomination in astrology.
Despite some claim that is it not science, I'll add that until 1680 Astrology was the same of astronomy and Pope had his astrology conclave to get their advises.
Before Pluto's denomination in astrology were consider in the study of a chart not only the moves of the nine planets but asteroids as well as Cheron, Ceres, Pallas, and to my knowledge some really serious astrologers they were using these asteroids and many more, even the transits of a comets to contact their studies.
Pluto will be considered as one of the planets that still exist. It didn't vanish. It is still here.
Many are objecting the credibility of "astrology". I shall agree with them to the point that, what they get from newspapers or magazines or books like "Leo", "Gemini", "Scorpio" is not astrology. It is Astrobullshitology which, because it brings the "bacon home", it is used extensively to exploit the "idiots" and the "gullable". "Astrology does not predict, Astrologers do, for the dollar sake".

I don't believe in astrology and even if I did it wouldn't matter. Pluto was only discovered in the last century and astrology has ben around for eons. What something is called affects nothing.

If astrologists continue to include it, then they should also include all the other bodies of a similar size whose motion about the sun is supposed to have an ethereal effect on our lives.
If they drop it from their calculations and prognostications, then doesn't it show equally well how little scientific basis there is for such a pseudo-science?
My guess is that some will continue to include it (it is, after all, merely a matter of classification) and others will argue around it. Many have never given it much credulity anyway, preferring to stick with the ancient systems, which in any case seem a little flawed because precession of the equinox has thrown a lot of their calculations out in terms of the real position of the sun and planets against the stars. (The calculation of Houses, for example has numerous systems, each of which has its adherents, and few of which represent anything approaching reality in terms of astronomical measurements.)

It does not. Astrology is not scientific.
Astrology is just a product of a human failing to take solace in anything that is obscure and preempts application of deep thought.
Science accepts its failings and continually reinvents itself. One of the strongest merits of the scientific method is that it allows scientists to reject their most deeply held ideas in favour of new ones when the old ideas fail to hold water.
The rejection of Pluto as a planet is a case in point.

Astrology is an ancient study. Pluto was discovered relatively recently. "Authentic" astrology won't be affected by removing something that is not in astrological calculations in the first place.
;-D See ya later, I'm off to check my horoscope!

It doesn't, Pluto still hangs in the universe. It's not like they totally obliterated it out of the universe!
